Serve Wenatchee Valley is bringing back their community event “Light the LOOP”, only this year it is going to have a different look and goal! “We plan to coordinate lighting the entire 9.6 miles of loop trail”, says Thom Nees, Executive Director of Serve Wenatchee Valley. “We are inviting our communities to come together and stand in solidarity hand-in-hand or 6’ apart (depending on what phase the counties will be in and in cooperation with the local health district) to celebrate where we are as a Sign of HOPE!”
2020’s event has been cancelled. 2021’s dates are set for September 24th-26th, 2021.
Founded in 1964, Leavenworth’s Autumn Leaf Festival celebrates the turning colors of the autumn leaves. It is Leavenworth’s original festival and one of the premier events around the Northwest. The event is highlighted with a Grand Parade on Saturday at 12 pm. The 2020 Royal Lady of the Autumn Leaves is Penelope Carpenter Ressler.
